Dr. Dustin Williams

Allow me to introduce myself. I am Dustin, and my wife is Allix. 

I was saved when I was 12 years old in my bedroom October 31, 2000. After months of struggling with my own doubts, I surrendered to the Lord and trusted Him for salvation.   About a year later, I was called to preach and surrendered to the Mission Field at a youth camp. After this, I spent most of my youth serving the Lord by conducting Bible Clubs, VBS’s, and Children’s Conferences all over the USA. I graduated with my D. Min in Christian Education from Trinity Graduate School in Sarasota Florida and met my wife Allix shortly thereafter. I was then ordained and sent out of Trinity Baptist Church of Abita Springs, LA and served as a Children’s Pastor for 10 years at Shady Grove Baptist Church of Bossier City, LA. Bro Michael Belding

Allow me to introduce myself as well. I am Michael and my wife is Edelyn.  

I was saved on Feb.17th 2024, but my story starts about 4 years earlier. I had fallen into depression I had no interest in God didn’t really believe in him. I had one prayer deep in my heart that to be a better Father and better Husband. I decided that if He’s not real, there is no harm in saying words. If He is, maybe he will do it for my wife’s sake, if not for mine. I took my wife’s hand before we lay down to sleep and prayed. I didn’t really feel anything big. No big moment (not yet anyway). Have patience and we will get to that part of the story. In the morning I decided to grab my wife’s hand and pray again. I didn’t know how to pray. It wasn’t personal yet, so I just repeated the Lord’s Prayer. However, slowly over the next four years I stopped drinking and stopped smoking. Things I had been trying to do for years. I found myself saying the Lord’s Prayer while driving and while exercising. I would use repetitions of the Lord’s prayer to time my exercises, but it still didn’t have a real deep meaning to me. However, it made me feel at peace in way I didn’t yet understand. Fast Forward to Feb 17, 2024, I was driving the work truck watching videos on YouTube and suddenly a strange video about Revelation 18 appeared, preached by Pastor Robert Breaker. I watched it and I believed on Jesus that day. From that point on I was so enthralled by the word of God I watch his whole series on revelation in 2-3 days. I ran home, bought a KJV Bible checking the mail every day waiting for it to come. My wife was shocked at my sudden change in behavior. The Lord answered my prayer from 4 years earlier! The old man died and he gave my wife a better husband and my daughter a better father now! I just must keep fighting my flesh and take up my cross daily. But even when I fall, Jesus and his completed works are the only thing keeping me saved by his grace through faith. The Blood of Jesus is the most precious resource in this universe, and God gives it away for free. If it wasn’t for watching my wife pray through all the hardest parts of our life and pray thanking God for all the good parts, I wouldn’t have thought to turn to prayer I wouldn’t have even tried. Proverbs 19:14 says “House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the Lord.” 1 Peter 3:1-2 says “Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.” These are the passages I think of when I think of my wife. I know without her example I wouldn’t have turned to prayer. If I hadn’t started praying my heart would not have been ready to hear the Gospel. I graduated with my Associate's Degree in Biblical Studies from Shady Grove Baptist Bible Academy of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Bossier City, LA USA, and became the Associate Pastor at LBC Yamato in 2026.
