Free Associates Degree in Bible Studies Program
We offer a free online Bible college for our church members that offers an associate’s degree in Bible studies through the authority of the local church (Shady Grove Baptist Church of Bossier City, LA, USA). The 2 year course includes the following syllabus:
- OT Survey (Self Guided) 6 Credit Hours
- NT Survey (Self Guided) 6 Credit Hours
- Biblical Hermeneutics (Self Guided) 6 Credit Hours
- Creationism 3 Credit Hours
- Baptist History 5 Credit Hours
- Bible History (KJV) 4 Credit Hours
- Bible Maps 3 Credit Hours
- Evangelism and Outreach 3 Credit Hours
- Missions 3 Credit Hours
- Preaching and Teaching the Bible 3 Credit Hours
- Signs, Wonders, and Miracles 3 Credit Hours
- Cults, Sects, and Heresies 3 Credit Hours
- Life Experience 6 Credit Hours
- Thesis (5,000 words) 6 Credit Hours
- Total: 60 Hours
Grades are given per course with A-F scaling or Pass Fail (depending on the course). Grade Point Average is considered after courses are complete. GPA Honors are as follows:
Summa Cum Laude: This is the highest honors distinction, requiring a GPA of 3.9 or higher.
Magna Cum Laude: This distinction requires a GPA of 3.8 or higher.
Cum Laude: This distinction requires a GPA of 3.7 or higher.
